There are many Chinese sayings about money. I remember as a young girl, people would always tell me that loans should be avoided–as the idea of owing money is perceived negatively.
Nowadays though, with the economy changing, it’s virtually impossible to not owe money to anyone. Loans doesn’t just mean applying to borrow money from social security or credit cards–any kind of postpaid bills are kind of a loan too if you think about it.
When you apply for a line of service, companies take into consideration your credit score. That’s basically a measure of how good of a payer you are. While your purchasing power is a basis of your overall ability to pay, your historical trending play a bigger part; especially since this reflects your attitude towards your responsibilities.
